We believe in doing things the right way—no shortcuts, no empty promises. And despite what the fix it up TV shows tell you, budget construction will come back to haunt you and DIY interior design almost always turns into a half-baked hodgepodge, racing down insurance liability lane… We’ve seen it all.
All too often here at Porche Home, we find ourselves cleaning up the mess left by inexperienced (and sometimes unlicensed) contractors—glorified middle-men who make a quick buck through subcontracting the construction work they were hired to do themselves, and underbidding jobs knowing the costs will snowball.
And even if everything goes right on the buildout, without incredible foresight, the interior design plan often gets sold down the river on accident, leaving the client stuck with construction that won’t complement the design.
And self-taught interior designers are a slippery slope. Unfortunately, in the social media era, anyone with a smartphone can position themselves as an expert. Clients are unknowingly handing over the keys to social media marketing mavens with no formal education, no buying power, and no comprehensive insurance. That’s not saving money on interior design. That’s gambling on power-drunk socialites with Pinterest accounts!
Our clients deserve better.
Fortunately, as a husband a wife duo, we’ve been doing custom building and interior design together for a long time, operating separate companies on both sides of that equation for over 20 years. But as of 2019 it’s official. We’ve combined forces.
Allow us to formally introduce Porche Home.
Porche Home is a full-service construction firm and interior design house, created to provide our clients with a far better experience.
In our 4000 sq ft showroom at our headquarters in Johns Creek, GA you’ll find our signature furniture and home-furnishings collection sold alongside a selection of stunning pieces from other designers—This is in conjunction with our design studio space where we make selections and develop a vision with our clients.
We partner with our clients to provide a full suite of construction and interior design services in-house. Our clients quickly become our friends and we work hand-in-hand on the front-end of the projects so that our clients can be hands-off during the buildouts and installations.
We source materials, pick finishings, debate floorpans, enable our clients to dream bigger and then bring those dreams to life.
